Ralph Fisher and the Train to Oblivion
On December 1, 1999, newsletter
editor Jim Shea sat down with former B&M brakeman Ralph
Fisher to record his memories of the Lexington Branch local
freight train, the "BB Local." Ralph worked on the railroad
between 1946 and '52.

answer in this special on-line
version of part one of
"Ralph Fisher and the Train to Oblivion." The article was originally
printed in Volume 6, Issue 1, of our newsletter.
As a bonus, we're pleased to offer several audio excerpts from our conversation with Ralph.
